Story about consensus in proof of stake
Start with Validators
How many, what happens in a round?

actors
Proof of Stake Chain - Ethereum is now a Proof of Stake chain. That is, if you want to participate in consensus of Ethereum, you need to put up monetary stake denominated in ETH.
Validators - The entities that participate in consensus are called Validators. Anyone can be a validator as long as they put up the stake and run Ethereum node software (more about that later). There are more than a 1 Million validators in Ethereum today. The minimum required ETH to run a node is 32ETH.
Block Proposer - A block proposer is a validator that has been pseudorandomly selected to build a block. Block proposer is responsible for creating a new block and sending it out to other nodes on the network.

What is beacon chain?
How does a million non trusting validators come to consensus about Ethereum state?
To understand that, first let’s understand the notion of time in Ethereum
